What is Naturopathic Medicine?
Naturopathic Medicine is a distinct system of health care that emphasizes natural healing and prevention diseases. The doctors of naturopathic medicine (Naturopathic Doctors), are trained to serve as primary care general practitioners who are experts in the prevention, diagnosis, management, and treatment of both acute and chronic health conditions using various non-invasive natural therapies, such as clinical nutrition, homeopathy, botanical medicine, hydrotherapy, physical medicine, and counseling.

Naturopathic Medical Training:
Naturopathic doctors are trained at accredited, four-year, post-graduate naturopathic medical schools. The training consists of comprehensive study of the conventional medical sciences, including basic medical sciences, clinical and physical diagnosis, laboratory diagnosis and imaging, clinical sciences as well as naturopathic philosophy and a wide variety of natural therapeutics.
